Get Inspired: Dallas Interior Design Events for Summer & Fall 2018

Whether you’re in the process of decorating a home or are simply a design enthusiast, you’ve most likely experienced it: that sudden rush of inspiration that pushes you to complete an old project you’ve been meaning to get to around the house, or finally come to a definitive decision on what color paint to use in the kitchen. Maybe it’s sparked by something relatively ordinary, like an interesting vase that catches your eye while window shopping. Maybe a life-altering event comes along that leaves you ready for a change. In any case, getting motivated is usually the fastest way to move past your frustration, and whatever you’ve been struggling with probably won’t seem quite so complicated anymore.

Unfortunately, as effortless as things feel when you’re in the zone, the flipside can be daunting. When you’re this close to throwing in the towel because you’re stuck in a rut and beginning to feel hopelessly in over your head, the term “overwhelmed” probably seems like a huge understatement. These days when we’re at a loss, most of us turn to the very same place: Google. The internet is, of course, a powerful resource with plenty of home improvement advice to be found, but sometimes scrolling through photos and reviewing the opinions of strangers just isn’t enough. So, for all of our fellow Dallas residents and interior design aficionados, here’s a list of upcoming local events that are a bit more hands-on. Check them out to experience the latest products firsthand and hopefully get inspired!
